Disappointment : Bulldog Keyless Entry System
Bought in March and just got around to installing and it seems to be defective. Is this company still in business? Have emailed them 2 times, called 800 and long distance number. LD number rings busy and 800 say that they are closed and it's after hours. All mailboxes are full and no messages can be left. It's been like this for over a week now.

Not adequate signal impel for my pickup : Peak PKC0RB Wireless Back-Up Camera System with 3.5-Inch LCD Color Monitor
I purchased the Peak system from Amazon and took my time installing it. First, in California, we cannot put anyone on the windshield, so I could not use the suction mount supplied with the kit. I purchased a mount from ProClip ([...]) that is exact for my car and allows the mounting of a cell phone, Gps or the Peak on a bracket that is attached on the dashboard without damaging anything, and can be removed if needed in the future. Once I got that setup I had the monitor qoute solved. Then the remaing installation was a matter of knowing what and how to remove the plastic panneling in the self-operating lift rear door of the Suv (Chysler Pacifica). I found that information online finding for specifics on the Pacifica, and got a pdf from Chrysler that told me what to remove and how. When completed, it is all very invisible, the wiring tucked under the paneling and the wireless relationship in the middle of the camera in the rear, mounted on the licence frame, and the monitor screen on the dash. Works great, turns on when I shift into reverse, screen lights up almost immediately and shuts off when I shift into drive. inspecting that a retrofit from Chrysler costs oabout $600, this is a great unit at a very cheap price. If you can do-it-yourself, it is a fun scheme and the resultis every bit as ggod as the installation unit.

Mid/Woofers
The 6.5-inch woofers feature a dynamic balance polymer/mica composite mineral-filled cone, which is stiff yet lightweight, for big sound with little distortion. The butyl rubber surround won't fall apart under the stress of extreme temperatures, sunlight or time, for years of the great Polk sound.
The woofer's low-mass, two-layer 25mm Kapton voice coil former ensures high power handling and great reliability. Although Katpon handles plenty of heat, a pole plate heat sink promotes better heat dissipation.
A flat spider provides faster, longer excursion linear motion, and the flexible woven leads are sewn directly into Spider for greater reliability.
Finally, the backbone--a rock solid, acoustically inert stamped steel basket finished in rustproof Gun Metal Gray.
Installation
The supplied adaptor rings enable the db6501 to fit both 6-1/2-inch and 6-3/4-inch applications, ensuring an easy fit in everything from domestics to imports including VWs and Audis, BMWs and other European imports.
The tough-looking ABS Grilles are computer optimized and based on exclusive MOMO designs, and stainless steel mounting hardware is included.
Crossover
The 2nd-order Butterworth outboard crossover helps get you component system sound at a coaxial price. Electronic tweeter protection keeps your tweeters from accidental abuse for reliable, high-output sound, and the vented crossover housing gives you a choice of hidden wire channels for easier, more professional-looking installs.

Great speakers! : Polk Audio DB6501 6.5-Inch 2-Way Component System (Pair, Silver)
These speakers precisely sound great. I looked at a lot of speakers' specs online, and nothing came close to these--bass response down to 35 hZ (I am a expert bassist so this was a necessity), while they have an efficiency rating of 92db. This is Very important, if not the Most foremost spec when you are matching your speakers to your amp (or even driving them with the weak head unit). You need Twice the power to push 3db more sound...So all else being equal, an 89dB rated speaker will sound half as loud with the same power input. These sound just awesome with an Alpine Cde-124Xsm head unit (Great unit, with built in Xm tuner!) driving them (50watts/channel peak, 18W/ channel program). I'm sure they would be even better with an amp, and they can take a Ton of power! I'm not sure how they got such great bass response And efficiency; precisely genius, and like Nothing Else I found on the market. I bought them due to the amazing reviews, and great reputation of Polk.
35 hZ is nearly down to the low string of a five string bass guitar (low B); most other speakers have no output below 65-90 hZ. If you want Bass, get these. There is no silly treble response up to 22,000 like some speakers, but most citizen can barely hear up to 20,000 hZ and there is roughly no musical facts there.
I set the crossovers at -3dB because I hate harsh treble, and you need a lot of bass frequency to make up for all the low droning road noise on the freeway. I put a narrow +1 dB boost at 500hZ, for warm growl, and a +1dB wide boost at 10K for the cymbal sparkle. I have not heard the tweeters at the other settings; for now I am happy as a clam. I had the tweeters mounted in the door, facing up, right near the woofer. beautiful tweeter sounds, very clear, warm (if you can say that about treble) and not harsh at all. Silk dome tweeters like these have a smooooth response.
The law is rounded out by a (discontinued; you can still find them) Blaupunkt Thb-210A 8" active subwoofer (240 watts peak, 120 watts program). These three components (head unit, speakers, and sub) together sound precisely amazing, And I paid less than $700 for everything, installed. Even without the sub, there is Very nice bass...but add the sub if you can....
Our Eurovan went from a broken tape player and worn out speakers to an Xm-equipped audiophile law at a trade price! Btw, that Blaupunkt sub fits perfectly under the front seat! No loss of cargo room and my wife likes the vibrations in her seat:) We just put the swivel seat adapter in there too (Eurocampers.com) and it couldn't be a more perfect fit---the seat basically touches the sub but it Still Fits!!! We were relieved...
I love hearing all the details of the music And The Bass!!! at a low volume. I don't need to crank it to hear everything beautifully. Head unit is commonly set no higher than "15", and I hear No distortion. Like I said, I am happy as a clam.
Buy these speakers; I did hours of research...For The Price and even at twice the price, they can't be touched...
